Health Ed 110 Online -  Class Requirements

Students should have basic to intermediate computer skills and must be able to conveniently access the Internet in order be successful in this class.  Modem speed should be at least 56 K or preferably higher.  In addition, students should have the following software installed on the computer they use to access the class;

• Word or WordPerfect (but NOT Microsoft Works)

• Netscape Navigator version 7.0  OR

• Internet Explorer version 6.0

• Real Player and Windows Media Player

• Adobe Acrobat Reader

Although an outside Email account is not necessary to take an online class, it is suggested that students have one available in the event of server problems.  However, it is expected that students have the ability to create and open email attachments using the email features found in the Course Management System used at MJC - WebCT.
