Nature Writing at HSI

This summer I am offering two sections of a nature writing courses at the High Sierra Institute. This 2-day course (Offered June 7-8; June 30-July 1) will give us a chance to write while enveloped by the charm of the Sierra. The course is limited to 18 writers. We will create a community and live together at historic Baker Station. Our time will consist of interactive and experiential class sessions, writing, reading, and exploring. The writing assignments will help us come to a greater understanding of our personal relationships with the natural world and with ourselves as natural beings.
